Bilingual music is also part of the mass during Feast days including Christmas, Holy Week, and much more. Opportunities are available for high school experience with musical or choral experience, as well. Each group holds their practice.  All members are required to complete and maintain the

CMSE (safe environment) training and background check required for

volunteering in the Diocese of Corpus Christi.

All are welcome!  The Guadalupana's invite you every 12th of the month to recite the rosary at 6:00 p.m. inside Sacred Heart Church.  Weather permitting.

Spanish Prayer Group meets every Wednesday at 7 p.m. in the prayer group room.  Entrance is by the bus stop.  Weather permitting. 

El Grupo de Oracion se reune todos los Miercoles a las 7 p.m. en el Salon. La entrada es por la parada de autobus.  Si el tiempo lo permite.  

Boys and girls from grade 3 and above and who have received their First Communion are invited to be an Altar Server.  For more information contact the parish office at 361/883-6082.  

Preparing parents for the formation of their child’s faith.

Extraordinary Ministers of Communion who serve the Body and Blood of Christ at Mass and to the sick and homebound.  If interested contact the parish office at 361/883-6082.  

Advises the Pastor on financial matters of the parish and school. Responsible for monitoring all income and expenses, and approving the annual budgets.

Volunteers who coordinate social activities and gatherings of parishioners during the year.

A group that counts the funds collected at Mass each week. Each group volunteers every two weeks.

The PPC is involved in most activities and programs effecting the liturgical and spiritual life of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.  For more information contact the parish office at 361/883-6082.

Parish volunteers who warmly welcome parishioners as they enter the Church for Mass.

Stations of the Cross (Spanish) are held Friday evenings at 6:30PM in the church during Lent.

Rite of Christian Initiation – preparation of adult candidates for Catholic sacraments.

Volunteers who assist people to their seat if necessary. They also take up the collection.

Duties include preparing the altar for Mass and cleaning the altar following Mass.

The English Prayer group meets on Wednesdays at 6:00 p.m. in the Knights of Columbus room, entrance is at the grotto gate.  Dates will be announced at mass and in bulletins. 

Note:  At this time, the prayer group will not meet until August .
